South Carolina Legacy
This watercolor painted in 1996 depicts
the confederate war memorial in front of the State Capitol building in
Columbia, SC. The confederate flag has since been removed from the dome
and now flies as part of the confederate memorial. Those responsible are
still unhappy with this compromise resulting in an ineffective boycott
of S.C. by the NAACP.
